What is Root Cause Therapy?

Root-Cause Therapy (RCT) is a trauma-informed healing modality designed to uncover and release the original root causes of emotional pain, limiting beliefs, and repeating life patterns.

While talk therapy can bring awareness, Root-Cause Therapy works with the unconscious mind to access deeper layers of memory, emotion, and belief that often remain hidden but continue to shape our behaviours and experiences. A more holistic healing approach.

 

Using a combination of:

  • Muscle testing (sway test) to identify core beliefs and emotional blocks

  • Guided healing sessions that allow the unconscious to reveal events from the past (including childhood, birth, or generational patterns)

  • Emotional release and integration techniques to clear the charge of painful events

  • Future healing work to reconnect with an empowered version of self

 

Root-Cause Therapy supports long-lasting, transformative change. This process helps clients:

How a personalised healing session works

Every Root-Cause Therapy session is a personalised, client-led experience designed to help you uncover and gently heal the emotional root of your current challenges. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, feeling stuck in old patterns, or carrying unprocessed trauma, each session is paced to meet you exactly where you are.

 

Step 1: Grounding & Intention Setting We begin by settling into the space—whether you're in person or online—and clarifying your focus for the session. You might be exploring a recurring emotion, physical symptom, or limiting belief. There's no need to have all the answers; just your presence and honesty is enough.

 

Step 2: Testing for Beliefs & Triggers Using a gentle muscle testing technique (sway test), we identify core limiting beliefs and emotional blocks currently active in your unconscious mind. This helps us create a clear, targeted healing pathway.

 

Step 3: Guided Healing Process Once the belief or issue is identified, I guide you into a safe, conscious healing process. You’ll be invited to gently connect with the root of the issue—which could stem from childhood, birth, past experiences, or intergenerational imprints. This is not hypnosis or regression. You remain awake, aware, and in control at all times.

As emotions arise, we work together to release them and extract the wisdom from the experience, allowing the nervous system to relax and the energy of the event to clear.

 

Step 4: Integration & Rechecking We revisit the beliefs and triggers to check for shifts and discuss any insights or sensations that came through. This helps anchor the healing and ensure your system has released what it was ready to.
