How is RCT different to counselling and talk therapies?
Unlike traditional talk therapy, RCT doesn’t just manage symptoms. It helps uncover and resolve emotional roots and subconscious imprints that often remain hidden beneath logic or conversation. Many clients come to RCT after finding that talk therapy hasn’t gone deep enough.

Is this like hypnosis or regression therapy?
No. You remain fully conscious during sessions. This is a guided, cooperative process using your awareness and unconscious mind, without inducing a trance state
How can trauma therapy help with unresolved trauma?
Root-Cause Therapy (RCT) helps resolve unresolved trauma by working with the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious mind to access the root events and beliefs that are still energetically impacting a person today. RCT helps the client safely feel and release these emotions through guided processes—reducing their emotional charge and preventing future re-traumatisation.
Do I need to revisit traumatic events?
Only if your unconscious mind brings them up. The process is client-led, and you remain conscious and in control throughout the session. You’ll never be forced to relive anything, and I’ll guide you gently if sensitive memories arise.
How many sessions do I need?
This depends on your goals. Some clients feel significant shifts after just one session, while others benefit from a series of sessions to work through deeper patterns. We can discuss this together in your discovery call or after your first session.
What if I can’t see or feel anything during a session?
That’s completely okay. Some people sense, others feel emotionally, and some get visual memories or physical sensations. There's no "right" way to process. We guide you gently and adapt the process to your experience.
Can I get a refund if I can't make a session?
We will gladly refund you or reschedule your appointment if we are provided 24 hours notice. If outside this timeframe, please contact the therapist to discuss as we understand life happens.
